Gracie Mansion

Built in 1799 on the banks of the East River at 88th St., this has been the official residence of New York City's mayors since 1942, when Fiorello LaGuardia moved in. In 2002, Gracie Mansion was completely restored. Tours are offered most Wednesdays at 10am, 11am, 1pm & 2pm. Tea Tours are available for groups of 25-50 people on Tuesdays and Thursdays ($25/person). Reservations are required for all tours; call 311 or email gracietours@cityhall.nyc.gov.
