On September 30, 2013, the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges (NYCAHC) hosted the 2013 Concierge Choice Awards, the hospitality industry's most prestigious awards gala, at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park. Established in 2007, the Concierge Choice Awards (CCA) recognizes companies, organizations, and individuals who create exceptional experiences for New York City visitors. Voted on by NYCAHC members, these prestigious awards recognize the city's elite in the tourist, theater, restaurant, retail, service, and transportation industries. A portion of the proceeds raised at the event is donated to Les Clefs d'Or Relief Foundation and NYCAHC Charitable Fund.
Davler Media Group, publisher of City Guide and Promenade magazines, hosted the awards dinner. The Master of Ceremonies was PIX 11 News commentator/legal analyst Lionel. The awards were presented by the concierges to the winners in fifteen different categories, representing the best in NYC hospitality. The entertainment was provided by Donald Webber, Jr. and Ariana DeBose (Motown the Musical) and Steven Pasquale (The Bridges of Madison County).
