Pop-Up Exhibition - Blessings: Giving Thanks at 3 World Trade Center
The New Apostle Gallery is proud to announce an upcoming group exhibition entitled "Blessings: Giving Praise" at 3 World Trade Center, celebrating eight years of a visionary philanthropic initiative by Silverstein Properties that has opened the doors of one of Lower Manhattan's most iconic buildings to working artists. For the past eight years, Silverstein Properties has made vacant space on the 69th floor of 3 World Trade Center available to artists as creative studio space - a remarkable act of generosity that has placed artistic practice at the very heart of one of New York's most celebrated addresses. The New Apostle Gallery's forthcoming exhibition is a tribute to that programme and the spirit of openness and cultural investment that drives it. The show brings together works by several artists united by a celebration of place and national identity - honouring the energy and spirit of New York City alongside the broader American story it represents. In a year when the United States marks its 250th anniversary, the exhibition is equally a tribute to the themes, ideals, and vitality that define the nation.

The month long pop up includes weekly presentations of artists represented by the gallery, including David Hollier, Frank Hyder, Arlene Pierro and concludes with the grand finale, a collaboration with Mayson Gallery in the form of a group show focusing on the artists in residence.

The first in the series will be a solo exhibition by British artist Darren Evans entitled Portraits of New York. Darren's work is rooted in a deep fascination with the built environment and the relationship between people and the places they inhabit.

Due to security considerations at 3 World Trade Center, the exhibition is not open to the general public and attendance is by prior arrangement only. Press, arts professionals, collectors, and invited guests are warmly encouraged to register for specific time slots for the Private View on Thursday 4th June.
