The Presence of the Past: Celebrating the Vision of Lenka Hlávková
Join us for a tribute to Czech musicologist Lenka Hlávková. The concert features seven premieres that link music of the past with contemporary vision.
This concert is a re-creation of an idea proposed and carried out by Professor Hlávková in a series of concerts in Prague before her untimely death in a random shooting at Charles University in 2023 that resulted in many deaths and injuries.
This event is organized with support from the Dvořák American Heritage Association and the Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association.
Venue: Bohemian National Hall
