Italian-born artists, pianist Cristiana Pegoraro and conductor Lorenzo Porzio, present an all-Italian program, including the US Premiere of Pegoraro's and Porzio's transcriptions of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons and three Rossini overtures, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, La Gazza Ladra, l'Italiana in Algeri, for piano and string orchestra. This concert format combines performance with discussion on the composers's life and impact.
