Recent Cutbacks: Oscar Worthy at Caveat
Anatomy of a Silence of the Everything Everywhere Crash Gladiator... Recent Cutbacks' sketch series is back! We love movies that take themselves too seriously and the Oscars are that. Get ready for 10 new sketches inspired by this year's Best Picture nominees and winners over the years.

Featuring Nick Abeel, Camila Canó-Flaviá, Liz Leimkuhler, Kristin McCarthy Parker, Kyle Schaefer and Regan Sims.

Nick Abeel (RCB Co-Founder) is a NY-based Dad and artist who performs, writes, directs, edits video, designs sound, and occasionally works as a foley artist. You can hear Nick in the Recent Cutbacks Audible Original: History of the 3rd Robot War, a 6-part parody lecture series he co-wrote and starred in as the T-Rex Professor. Nick is also a veteran company member of Broken Box Mime Theater, collaboratively creating and performing contemporary stories entirely through movement. Camila Canó-Flaviá is an actor based in New York City. Select credits include Network (Broadway), Dance Nation (Playwrights Horizons), The Coast Starlight (Lincoln Center Theatre), Mac Beth (Hunter Theater Project), Baby Ruby (Magnet Releasing), and Three Women (Starz, upcoming). She received her BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.

Kristin McCarthy Parker (RCB Co-Founder) is a NYC-based director and producer. Their work includes the Off-Broadway hit Puffs and its live capture (on Amazon & iTunes). With RCB: Hold On To Your Butts, Fly You Fools, KEVIN!!!!!, Next Day Thrones, and the Audible Original Master Lecture Series: History of the Third Robot War. Kyle Schaefer (RCB Co-Founder) is a lifelong tinkerer/collaborator/maker, classically-trained actor and seeker of beautiful noise, powerful stories and collective liberation. His work has been seen and heard on the big/small screens, stages near/far, and all around the World Wide Web. Regan Sims is an actor and mime from NYC and a proud Recent Cutbacks collaborator. Recently she worked on RCB's Fly, You Fools! and is currently working at the Met Opera as an actor!
