Spring Drama Festival: Pride and Prejudice
Come see Broadway's stars of tomorrow...today! The second of three productions by the LaGuardia senior Drama studio that offers a unique twist on a classic tale while also showcasing the seniors' strong comedic talents. Pride and Prejudice, written by Jane Austen, has sold over 20 million copies and most recently was on PBS's Great American Read Top 100 Most Beloved Books list. You'll notice the slight nod to the 1990s in our production. It is full of the 90s angsty satire of productions like Clueless, 10 Things I Hate About You, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Rushmore to name a few: self-discovery and self-acceptance, wrapped in a love story.
Venue: Little Flower Theater at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts
