“Gonzo comedian Rollie Williams plays a rode-hard Al Gore interviewing comedians and real scientists about climate change.” — Time Out NY Everyone's favorite former vice president and environmental crusader is now a late night talk show host, and he's taking no prisoners in this riotous breakdown of the current state of climate change. An Inconvenient Talk Show brings together the world’s hottest comedians (Comedy Central, SNL, UCB, etc) and climate experts (NASA, VICE, NYU, Smithsonian, etc) to tackle the globe's hottest problem.

Climate Justice is Racial Justice, and addressing the global crisis begins with dismantling the racist policies that inflict the worst impacts of climate change on people of color. On Friday, July 24th, Climate Town presents An Inconvenient Livestream “Climate Justice,” welcoming climate scientists, activists, and a dream team of comics to better understand the relationship between climate change and racism. Friday’s broadcast features special guest Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson (TIME Magazine, How to Save a Planet, All We Can Save), marine biologist, author, activist and founder of the Ocean Collectiv and Urban Ocean Lab. This event will also feature special guest Sonal Jessel, MPH, Policy & Advocacy Coordinator with We Act for Environmental Justice, an incredible organization combating environmental racism and building healthy communities for people of color since 1988. Admittance to this online event is free, but audience members will have the opportunity to donate towards We Act for Environmental Justice throughout the broadcast.

Alongside creator Rollie Williams (Columbia University) and collaborator Mamadou N’Diaye (Sundance Makers Lab), audiences will be treated to a colorful cast of comedians including Mark Vigeant (Comedy Central), Tristan Griffin (Just For Laughs), Monique Moses (Astronomy Club on Netflix), Gianmarco Soresi (Caroline’s on Broadway), Taylor Ortega (Just For Laughs), and Asher Perlman (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert). Tune in for a night of learning, laughter, and enlightenment as we work together to create a better world.
