Our manga courses for teens offer budding artists the chance to explore the rich world of Japan’s most popular cultural export in a group of like-minded peers and with guidance from professional artists. Students will get to draw characters from their favorite series and try a variety of popular styles, all while developing the fundamentals necessary to create original characters and manga with their own unique artistic voices.

The summer is here and that means it’s time to take a break from school, have fun in the sun, and draw manga! This course will introduce fundamental drawing skills through engaging activities designed to take advantage of the warmest months of the year. Get outside to gather inspiration as you master sketching in the style of your favorite hit Japanese series!

Open to middle and high school students. Space is limited; advanced registration required.
