Founded in 2021 by chefs Tim Ma and Kevin Tien, Chefs Stopping AAPI Hate works with other chefs across the country to raise funds and awareness of the increase in violence against Asian Americans in the United States. Platform is honored to amplify this important initiative with a collaborative dinner featuring co-founder of Chefs Stopping AAPI Tim Ma, pastry chef of Moon Rabbit and 2024 James Beard Award semifinalist Susan Bae, and chef of Bangkok Supper Club, Max Wittawat. Additionally, Chinatown activist, renowned cookbook author, and James Beard Humanitarian of the Year Award winner Grace Young will be speaking about her efforts advocating for the businesses and residents of Chinatowns on both coasts.
