Men's Grooming Midtown West: Sharps Barber and Shop

Located in the ultra posh Le Parker Meridien, Sharps elevates the hotel barbershop to an entire new level of cool. Before stepping out on the town, explore the old school menu, which offers precision cuts, the signature Sharps Straight Razor Shave, buzzcuts, beard and moustache trims, and the “Hot Towel Reviver,” which focuses on the neck, back, and sides. A chic and relaxing atmosphere merges wood and cream accents.

Men's Grooming Midtown East: The Art of Shaving

Founded in 1996, The Art of Shaving is a destination just for men. Beyond its stellar barber services, it provides a collection of fine shaving products. While the specialists are busy grooming and pampering, they also offer topnotch advice on technique. In a hurry to indulge in all that Manhattan has to offer? In just 45 minutes, you can experience the house's signature service, the Royal Shave. It begins with a hot towel and moves through a traditional straight razor and a double-shave for maximum precision. The shave is polished offwith a hydrating toner and an application of after-shave balm. Although The Art of Shaving has several Manhattan locations, note that not all of them offer the elite Barber Spa services. Appointments are suggested.

Men's Grooming Midtown West: Blind Barber

Blind Barber

How about a shave and a vodka tonic? The stylish MOXY Times Square recently welcomed the Blind Barber, a four-chair destination for locals and guests alike, offering a lineup of unisex grooming services and products, plus cocktails. Haircuts and beard trims as well as Blind Barber’s signature hot shaves are available, starting at $25. When you're finished, ride up to the top of the hotel to check out Magic Hour, NYC's largest rooftop bar.

Men's Grooming Midtown East: Truman’s Gentlemen’s Groomers

Tired of pounding the pavement in the city that never sleeps? Unwind with a Pedicure Foot Repair package. In 45 minutes flat at Truman's Gentlemen's Groomers, you can have your nails expertly clipped, filed, and then buffed. Following that regimen is an exfoliating scrub that is applied to the feet and legs. A soothing leg massage tops off the experience. Refreshed and renewed, now you’re ready for anything, including a transit strike.
