The concert, taking place on Sunday, March 22, 2020, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Town Hall in Manhattan (123 W 43rd, between Broadway and 6th Avenue), will feature the who's who of Indian classical music, including TM Krishna (vocalist), Hidayat Husain Khan (sitarist and youngest son of Vilayat Khan), Danish Husain (storyteller) and Marina Ahmad (Hindustani vocalist), among others. In the legendary 1967 musical album, Ustad Vilayat Khan and Ustad Imrat Khan answer the age-old question: what would we do if we had one more day with the person we love? Garden Party transforms the ZAZ10TS lobby gallery at 10 Times Square with neon and LED light sculptures as a nod to Times Squares history of neon signage, accompanied by bright wallpapers, video and a large format print. Aaron Pexas video I Wander the Forest in Search of Mystery will run on a continuous loop. In it, a chandelier slowly twirls in a forest by a lake. The optic qualities of the cut crystal are activated by sunlight and enhanced by pastel atmospheres that move through the frame. Judd, the first major U.S. retrospective dedicated to the work of Donald Judd (19281994) in over three decades, will open to the public on Sunday, March 1st at the Museum of Modern Art, located at 11 West 53rd Street (between Fifth and Sixth Avenues), Manhattan. Presented solely at MoMA, the exhibition explores the remarkable vision of an artist who revolutionized the history of sculpture, highlighting the full scope of Judds career through 70 works in sculpture, painting, drawing, and prints, from public and private collections in the US and abroad. Judd is organized by Ann Temkin, The Marie-Jose and Henry Kravis Chief Curator of Painting and Sculpture, with Yasmil Raymond, Tamar Margalit, and Erica Cooke.Judd will be the first full-scale introduction to the artists career for many viewers (including a generation born since his last American retrospective in 1988).
