The exhibition explores the cultural repercussions of political ruptures through sculpture, photography, video, and mixed-media installations by seven contemporary artists and one artist group from three Southeast Asian countries—Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam—whose lives and art practices have intersected with defining historical moments.
