Live Dungeons and Dragons Performance
Berserker Theater plunges into the Forgotten Realms! Join company members Jess Otterbine, Elise D’Avella, Alec Farquharson, and Nicky Khor as they tackle the world’s most famous role-playing game: Dungeons & Dragons. The maiden Ophelia has approached a band of mercenaries with a treasonous quest: save Prince Hamlet and assassinate his uncle-king. Only by doing so can they secure the future of the kingdom, its people, and… Hamlet’s heir?! As a special fundraiser, Berserker presents a one-shot campaign inspired by Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.” Join us for a night of laughter and mayhem, graciously hosted at Kogame in NYC’s East Village. The Deets: What: A fundraiser for Berserker’s Theater. The cast will play through a story inspired by “Hamlet,” using the rules of Dungeons and Dragons (5e). It’s an improv show in front of YOU, our fabulous live audience! Where: 67 1st Ave. New York, NY 10003. Known as “Kogame,” this restaurant space is home to other shows such as, “Batsu,” “The Laugher Party,” and “Sauced Cinemas.” If you get lost, look for the Japanese mural on 4th St. or Google directions for “Batsu.” When: June 12th 6-8:30pm* How: Tickets are $15, available here: https://www.eventbrite.com/.../berserker-theatre-does... If you’re unable to make the show in-person, know that we’ll miss you terribly. Luckily, we’ll be recording the event and sending a private viewing link to anyone who donates. Any amount will get you the link so donate whatever you’d like!** More Fun Stuff: Food and beverage service is TBD but likely to be made available for purchase, courtesy of Kogame. There will, however, definitely be audience interaction! One of the ways will be through helping (or hurting!) our adventurers through “rerolls.” Each additional donation of $5 will net you a reroll, which you can use to possibly change the fate of the game! You can pre-purchase rerolls through the ticket link or in-person at the event (bring cash or have Venmo ready). *Approximately ** Suggestion donation: $1,000,000
