18-09-2018 12:00:00 18-09-2018 12:00:00 America/New_York Broadway Buskers: Carner & Gregor Broadway Buskers are concerts of original music, hits from yesterday and today, and musical theater tunes with singer-songwriters who happen to be Broadway actors and composers, curated and hosted by Ben Cameron, the host of Broadway Sessions, and BroadwayCon. Broadway Buskers is part of TSQ ? NYC, approximately 30 hours per week of free summer music and public programming throughout the Broadway Pedestrian Plazas, amidst the lights and sounds of the iconic setting of Times Square, the Crossroads of the World. Sam Carner and Derek Gregor’s musical Unlock’d ran Off-Broadway in a Prospect production at the Duke Theater and recently played Houston’s Queensbury Theatre. Their show Island Song has dozens of productions slated for 2018-19 around the world, having played the Adirondack Theatre Festival, London’s Stratford Circus, Oakland University, Circle in the Square Theatre School, and many more. The studio cast album starring Jeremy Jordan, Kimiko Glenn and more is available at www.IslandSongMusical.com. Their musical Toast had workshops at the Bloomington Playwrights Project, NC State, and Johnny Mercer Colony.
