New York Restoration Project Spring Picnic
New York Restoration Project’s annual Spring Picnic gala returns this June 15, 2022 to celebrate the city’s recovery from the ground up. Held at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the evening will honor landscape design visionaries Walter Hood and Janice Parker. The event will also include the first-ever NYRP Gardener Spotlight Awards recognizing the community garden leaders. Emmy Award-winning journalist Frank DeLilla will host and Broadway talent Adam Jacobs (Aladdin) and Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls) will perform with the Brooklyn Music School faculty jazz ensemble.
