Dutch drummer Bas van Andel is known for his ability to turn on general steam. During his U.S. tour, Van Andel's swinging quartet includes Alto-saxophone man Nathan Belott and double bassist Joris Teepe, whom "has become musical partners with some of the best musicians in New York. This is due to his status as a bassist who possesses a warm, even tone, and a sympathic, swinging beat"(Peter Washington, NY). Teepe is also known for his collaboration with late Coltrane drummerRashied Ali. Joined on piano by former Jaco Pastorius group pianist Jon Davis.
