With trombonist Chris Crenshaw, trumpeter Marcus Printup, tenor saxophonist Stantawn Kendrick, pianist Kenny Banks, Jr., bassist Kevin Smith, and drummer Brandon McCrae. The Georgia Horns is an enormously talented quintet made up of artists born and raised in Georgia. The group features two members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra—trombonist Chris Crenshaw and trumpeter Marcus Printup—alongside saxophonist Stantawn Kendrick, pianist Kenny Banks, Jr., bassist Kevin Smith, and drummer Brandon McCrae. These guys are a seriously good time when they perform, and it's always a pleasure to have them back in New York. Stop by for an evening of bluesy, hard-swinging tunes played by a group of virtuoso soloists.
