Celebrate National Dog Day on Friday, August 26th, with three great pup friendly restaurants to consider while you kick back, relax, and celebrate (with a cocktail or two) the occasion with your four legged friends.

For a quintessential NYC experience, grab an artisanal Neopolitan pizza at Fornino’s seasonal summer location at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. On Friday, 8/26 Fornino will give out complimentary pizza flavored dog biscuits to all the pups in town while supplies last! This Brooklyn institution has been serving up wood-fired pizza for almost two decades and is the perfect place to chow down on some za’, catch the sunset, while taking advantage of the Brooklyn Bridge Dog Park, which stays open until 11pm daily. For more information, visit https://www.fornino.com/.

Ten Hope (10 Hope Street) in Williamsburg is an outdoor dining destination you don’t want to miss. This dog friendly (leash permitted) oasis offers a vine-laced open-air patio with ample seating, making Ten Hope a great spot to enjoy the summer weather, seasonal cocktails, and Mediterranean inspired New American dishes. Be sure to stop by with your pup on Friday 8/26 anytime after 5pm for a special dog treat and a summer meal al fresco! For reservations and more information, visit http://tenhopebk.com. Loulou, (176 8th Avenue) the stunning French Bistro and Speakeasy in Chelsea, which gets its name after owner Mathias Van Leyden’s adorable rescue dog, is the perfect place to celebrate the holiday. On Friday, 8/26 Loulou will be giving out free mini hot dog treats for all dogs served on nothing less than the finest dog dishes. Loulou has one of the most stunning outdoor seating options in town as well as an array of amazing craft cocktails and signature French dishes. Loulou is open for brunch on weekends and lunch and dinner all week long, making it a great place to bring your furry friends. For reservations and more information visit, www.loulounyc.com.
