In 2019, right before the world shut down, St John's Music Professors Dyan D and Danny Borg carefully crafted amazing courses working with the students in the Queens Campus. Danny and Rafael met at their time in NYU when they themselves were students. It was one afternoon where Danny united us all and formed our first version. Playing for the students and understanding the concept of spontaneity and improvisation. They loved it, and a new music bond and friendship was born. We are thrilled to be promoting our new album which comes out in 2024: The DRD Modern Organ Trio. It encompasses the tradition of old meeting the minds and styles of the new.
