Hamilton is the Pulitzer Prize winning hip-hop musical from Tony, Grammy and Emmy award winner, and MacArthur Genius grant receiver Lin-Manuel Miranda. Hamilton brings to the stage the life and times of Alexander Hamilton, an ambitious founding father who rose from bastard orphan to become George Washington's right hand man. Characters include all the big guns, from George Washington to Thomas Jefferson, and of course, Hamilton's nemesis Aaron Burr, who killed him during their infamous duel in Weehawken. Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the Tony Winning book, music and lyrics based on Ron Chernow's well regarded Alexander Hamilton. Tony nominee Thomas Kali directs. Choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler , Costume from Paul Tazewell and Sound Design from Nevin Steinberg.
