Karlea Lynné is a rapidly rising voice in jazz, heavily influenced by Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington. She won both a National Young Arts Foundation Award and the first-ever Berklee College of Music Jazz Soloist Competition. She has had the opportunity to play with many greats such as Ulysses Owens Jr., Lonnie Plaxico and Winard Harper. Giovanni Russonello of The New York Times calls Karlea "A vocalist with a commitment to jazz's soul-inflected tradition".
