Bankra Caribbean Culture Festival: The Biggest Event That Celebrates The Cultural Diversity Of The Caribbean Is Here Again, but This Time In Person. New York, United States July 19, 2021: Braata Productions, a non-profit organization that brings the Caribbean folk culture, music, theatre, and entertainment to the United States proudly announces the upcoming 7th edition of the Bankra Caribbean Culture Festival. The event will be hosted online on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm EST. Bankra Caribbean Culture Festival is an annual event that celebrates the rich culture and tradition of the Caribbean. It is a one-day festival, which was helped virtually online this year in June will be held once again in person on the lush grounds of St. Albans Park in Southeast Queens. This will be one of first in person experience of the festival since the Pandemic and will be done in partnership with Council Member I Daneek Miller’s Annual Family Fun Day. This year’s event is set to feature live performances from a variety of artists and entertainers as well as storytelling. Other activities to enjoy in the festival include arts and craft and a health panel discussion as well as a playzone for the family and plenty of friendly competitions and races for the entire family. Not to be missed is the much loved basket weaving demonstration and classes. While the online edition of the festival was such a success, Braata Productions is eager to begin transition back to hosting in-person events for the remainder of the year. The Bankra Caribbean Culture Festival has evolved into an important event with more people of diverse cultures showing keen interest in the festival. The event has showcased the talents of the Caribbean to the world in the last few years and Braata Productions have successfully sold the beauty of the art and culture of the Caribbean to the world with the event.
