Matt Rogers, Bowen Yang This event is 21 and over LAS CULTURISTAS is a weekly podcast (and live show, "I DON'T THINK SO, HONEY") hosted by Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. It has been called "addictively bitchy" by Time Out New York and "an unstoppable force of charisma" by The A.V. Club. Las Culturistas was named one of Esquire's "Top 10 Podcasts of 2017" and Time Out New York's #1 Comedy Podcast. Their live format, "I DON'T THINK SO, HONEY" – featuring 50 comedians doing one-minute rants on any pop culture pest of their choosing – has been featured at the New York Comedy Festival and the Brooklyn Podcast Festival. In the words of Guy Branum (Pop Rocket): "Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers are fucking culture warriors and we don't deserve them." Matt Rogers is a comedian, actor, writer and host based in NYC, originally from Long Island. He currently performs regularly at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater with CHARACTERS WELCOME in NY. He was previously an actor on the UCB Maude team CHOIR. He was selected as one of Comedy Central's Comics To Watch- SKETCH in 2016. Matt is the artistic director of the musical sketch comedy group POP ROULETTE (Comedy Central Comics To Watch- SKETCH 2015), whose show Pop Roulette's AMAZING EARTH ran at UCB Chelsea for a year. He is also the co-host of the LAS CULTURISTAS podcast with Bowen Yang and GAYME SHOW with Dave Mizzoni every second Saturday of the month at 11:30 PM at UCB East. He is a proud alumnus of the NYU sketch group Hammerkatz, and his work has been featured on Above Average, Reductress, College Humor, Funny Or Die and MTV, among others. Matt is also an actor and director with Story Pirates and a member of the sketch group Chess Club Comedy. His biggest comedic influence is Eva Longoria. Bowen Yang is a comedian, producer and formerly mediocre chemistry major based in Brooklyn, NY. He creates and produces various live shows in New York, including "LIVE ON BROADGAY" at Littlefield, "LAKE HOMO HIGH" at The Annoyance, and the "LAS CULTURISTAS" podcast with Matt Rogers, which has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Splitsider and Time Out New York. TV credits include "BROAD CITY," "THE OUTS," and "HIGH MAINTENANCE." He performs sketch with POP ROULETTE—named one of Comedy Central's "Comics to Watch."
