Glad: The music of traffic 'the incredible mix show
Under 21 With Guardian A night of music devoted to the groundbreaking group that blew open the conventions of Rock with their influences of Jazz, Folk & Progressive Rock. Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Dave Mason & Chris Wood's visionary band remains as relevant, rocking and fresh today, as it was in its 1967 inception. Musicians Mark Rivera, Jeff Kazee & Rich Pagano—bandmates & sidemen to many of the largest names in Rock (Billy Joel, Ringo Starr, Southside Johnny, Bon Jovi and Roger Waters to name a few)—are excited to share their passion for the music of Traffic, with a setlist that features such classics as: Freedom Rider, Dear Mr. Fantasy, The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys, Empty Pages, and Pearly Queen—plus some deep cuts and other Traffic-related material that'd make any Rock-loving fan swerve the car. Guest musicians include Marc Ribler (Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul) and Kevin Bents (Amy Helm).
