After making our inaugural appearance at Littlefield with the world premiere of Mike Gregorek’s Harry the First, Drunk Restoration Comedy is back for round two of wizard fun on Friday, August 10th at 10pm at the Players Theatre in the West Village. Relive Harry and his BFF’s first year at school like you never have before - in Shakespearean verse, with lots of booze! The premise of Drunk Restoration Comedy: our team of brave (or just crazy?) actors, comedians, and improvisers will perform a reading of a classical text or a text made classical. The catch: they'll be doing so while heavily under the influence. Even better, this interactive evening will give audience members a chance to choose their own adventure and dictate which performers get totally sloshed and which are sent packing. Anything could happen in this epic Elizabethan parody, come find out what does! $12 tickets, which include one complimentary drink, are available now at drunkrestoration.com. http://www.cityguideny.com/eventinfo.cfm?id=318502 The Players Theatre The Players Theatre
