Time Out Market New York is proud to honor the contributions of Black mixologists around the country with cocktails and conversation as highlighted in the upcoming book, Black Mixcellence: A Comprehensive Guide to Black Mixology by Tamika Hall. The author, Tamika Hall, will lead an intimate Q&A at Time Out Market New York in DUMBO, Brooklyn, on Monday June 13th at 7pm. During this special event, Tamika and her guests of honor (a pair of celebrated mixologists) will focus the narrative around Black History, the journey of the mixologist, the story of the cocktails, and the meaning of and cause for celebration on Juneteenth. Throughout the month, visitors can stop by the Market to enjoy The Lacandon Cocktail by Colin Asare-Appiah, featured in Black Mixcellence. Following the featured run, $1 from each cocktail will be donated to the National Black Farmers Association (NBFA).

Tickets: $35 (includes a pre-ordered signed copy of the book and one cocktail and recipe card.)
