Bluegrass from the Bluegrass
What’s it like to risk it all and follow your passion? Come hear from Stoner Creek Shakedown. In the height of the Covid pandemic Sarah Fightmaster (mandolin) left her 12-year legal career to pursue creative interests of stained glass and bluegrass music. Her friend and cousin, John Soper (banjo), soon joined the adventure and Stoner Creek Shakedown was born.
Their music tells the tales of misadventures, life lessons and the soul of the Kentucky hills. Born from the bluegrass under their feet and the muddy waters of Stoner Creek, like good music should, it will make you feel something about this human journey we’re all on - love, heartbreak, regret, survival, redemption.
Come out to Freddy’s Bar and Backroom. Catch Dan Sofaer with a special set at 8pm. Stoner Creek Shakedown at 9pm. Cheers!
