Sundaram Tagore Chelsea is pleased to present new abstract canvases by Golnaz Fathi, the renowned Iranian artist known for her highly expressive paintings rooted in the traditions of Persian calligraphy. This exhibition, The Road Forward, arrives in New York as a feminist revolution for bodily freedom and gender equality storms across Iran. The new work presented explores Fathi's complicated relationship with her homeland and skillfully transforms language into pure form. The exhibition runs at the gallery, located at 542 West 26th Street, New York City from November 17 until December 17, 2022.
