Ice Season Opening Day at Wollman Rink
Wollman Rink’s 2022-2023 ice season will open to the public on Sunday, October 23rd from 10:00am - 6:00pm with festivities on and off the ice. It will be free for visitors, including skate rental, and will include eight hours of programming, featuring on-ice performances, a live DJ, free learn to skate clinic classes, ice sculpture carving, food demonstrations from New York-based celebrity chefs, and more. The festive opening day celebration will mark the announcement of Wollman Rink’s new partnership with Culture Pass, as well as the expansion of the Wollman Rink Access Program (WRAP), which helps provide access for New Yorkers who have not historically been able to afford to visit Wollman Rink.
