Tony May and Marisa May's SD26 (19 E. 26th St. at Madison Ave., 212-265-5959; sd26ny.com) -- which sets the standard for contemporary Italian cuisine in New York and was named one of Esquire magazine's "Best" New Restaurants In New York, 2010 -- is host a wide range of events for January and February 2011.
For Winter Restaurant Week 2011 (Monday through Friday, 1/24-28 & 1/31-2/4), they're offering a $24.07 prix-fixe three-course lunch menu (noon-2:30pm) and $35 prix-fixe three-course dinner menu (5:30-11pm).
On Super Bowl Sunday (2/6/2011), they will feature a Super Bowl WineBar and Buffet, with a wide-screen TV in the private balcony room, WineBar, beer, and Chef Matteo's Super Bowl Buffet. $100/person; 5pm-end of the game. Or enjoy the game at the bar and dine from the a la carte menu (no reservations necessary).
Their Valentine's Day menu (2/14/2011) features a prix-fixe four-course dinner ($90/person). You also have the option to add a wine pairing for $75/person, or select your own wine.
