A Can't-Miss for LEGO Fans: LEGO Live NYC This FebruaryJanuary 5, 2018 - by Merrill Lee Girardeau
Love visiting the Lego Stores when you’re in the city? Then you have to check out LEGO Live, an incredible event coming to New York. February 16-18, at Pier 36, you’ll find millions of Lego bricks waiting for you to build something great!
Whatever you like in the Lego universe, there’s something for you at LEGO Live. You can build BB-8 at the Star Wars station, or a Lightning Jet at the Ninjago station. Or you may just want to swim in the lake of tiny bricks!
The event will also feature Minecraft Legos, based on the popular video game. At this station, you can assemble a Jungle Tree House or an underwater temple. With Mindstorm Legos, you can build robots that can be programmed to move on their own! Experts will be on hand to help you with coding so that your robot comes to life.
The workshops and talks throughout the weekend will enhance your Lego expertise. Gigantic characters made of Legos will be on display throughout the venue as well.
Bring the whole family to Pier 36 on the Lower East Side. The venue will sell snacks and drinks, and you’ll have access to plenty of restaurants in the area if you’re hungry (here’s a guide to get started).
Get your tickets now! Each 4-hour session is expected to sell out, and you don’t want to miss this event. For Lego superfans, special VIP tickets are available for kids and adults, which give you early access to Pier 36 and meet-and-greets with Master Builders.
