Local haunt The Junction takes the premise of the Happy Hour to new levels-weekdays, their Happy Hour runs from 11am-7pm, and on Sundays, 11am to 10pm! Sample Wagamama Old Fashioned made with two (!) Japanese whiskies, their impressive sake assortment, and beers from Japan, China, and Thailand. While you’re at it, try their Chili Squid with chili cilantro dipping sauce or the Bang Band Cauliflower, which is tossed with something aptly named "Firecracker Sauce." The food’s on a similar elevated plane, with delectable shareables like nachos (available on fries, tots, or nachos) and Flaming Hot Chickpeas. And it's much beloved by locals for not only its early happy hour, but one that starts later at night, depending on the barkeep's assessment. Interiors here provide cozy nooks for groups and a boisterous and chatty bar with chandeliers overhead. This place is a true crowd-pleaser, as the TVs inside cater to a range of sports fans. If you like dollar oysters at happy hour, Ted's has got you covered. Indulge in these regionally (and daily) sourced oysters, along with selections of beer, wine, cocktails, and food at a discount. While you’re there, you should also investigate their Mediterranean cuisine, which includes a cheese and charcuterie plate, Halloumi Toast, and flatbread pizzas.
