Our staff will be on hand to give tours and talk about our beautiful building and its history. This event is free to all! LOCATION: Bayside Historical Society 208 Totten Avenue, Fort Totten Bayside, NY 11359 718-352-1548 info@baysidehistorical.org FROM OHNY: The Castle is one of the most distinctive structures at Fort Totten and one of the finest surviving examples in New York City of Gothic Revival castellated architecture. The Castle pays tribute to the emblem of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, who once used the building as their Officers’ Mess Hall and Club.
