Roll like a pro! Sushi night

Sushi is considered by many as an art form. It takes years to learn properly and a lifetime to master! As we only have a humble few hours, our aim will not to become sushi masters overnight, but to learn the techniques, tips and tricks to recreate beautiful restaurant quality sushi at home. You will learn where to source the best sushi ingredients, basic Japanese knife skills and how to spread, layer, tuck and roll four different types of sushi. This class will focus on the Maki Roll, the traditional Inside Out Roll, the Temaki Roll; commonly known as the Handroll, and finally the elegant but most challenging of all the sushis, the Nigiri. You will work with other students in groups of 2. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you're part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only About Chef Kevin Chef Kevin has been a professional sushi chef for over four years training and residing at restaurants all over New York. One of his many specialities is Omakase; being the fine tradition that gives the chef creative freedom to flex their culinary talents thereby providing their customers with a memorable dining experience. He has been exposed to the full spectrum of sushi preparation; from the "fast sushi" concept, to creating sushi art exclusively to corporate and private clients. His cooking classes are hands on, educational and focusing on the traditional art of creating this elegant dish.
