Science in Theatre Festival
In November 2021, Transforma created and produced a sold-out Science in Theatre Festival featured in Forbes and American Theatre Magazine. This year they're being presented at The Tank, Dec 9-11, 2022. Science in Theatre Festival is a women-driven three-day event where three original science-themed plays and new technologies are presented. Each night an audience watches a new theatrical work, followed by science presentations in the style of TED talks, and roundtables consisting of scientists and artists. The goal of Science in Theatre Festival is to align forms of theater with current scientific research in neuroscience, artificial intelligence, sustainability and epigenetics, and communicate it in a pioneering way of storytelling.
