Oceana in New York City Offers Special Valentine's Day Tasting Menu Every Evening in February 2011


Oceana (120 W. 49th St., 212-759-5941; oceanarestaurant.com) is offering a full month of romance with a special Valentine's Day tasting menu served every evening in February. The menu is 6 courses for $98 per person. An optional wine pairing will be offered for a supplement of $60 per person. In addition to the tasting menu, their regular a la carte menu will also be available each evening.

Annie McMahon, a close friend of Paul McLaughlin, managing partner of Oceana, has been struggling with Cystic Fibrosis for the majority of her life. Annie is participating in the Rockaway Plunge Fundraiser later in February and to help her cause and all those with Cystic Fibrosis, through the month of February, Oceana is serving “The Rockaway Plunge” (Jameson Whiskey, Triple Sec, Lemon & Lime Juice, and Orange Bitters, served over shaved ice and finished with candied ginger). “The Rockaway Plunge” is $10 and all proceeds will be donated to Annie and her team.For more information on the Rockaway Plunge Fundraiser please visit:
