Theatergoers will no longer have to travel far for an innovative and sophisticated pre-show meal. URBO Loft, located on the second floor of URBO at the corner of 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue just steps from the city’s Broadway plays, will offer a three-course dinner menu for ideal for those with tickets to the ‘Great White Way.’ The $50/person menu will be available Tuesdays through Sundays from 5 to 6:30pm beginning November 4. The prix fixe also includeschoice of a glass of Prosecco or signature cocktail.
Executive Chef Michael Gibney has put together an expertly tailored three-course menu featuring starters like Roasted Parsley Root with juicy and tender pulled lamb neck meat, yogurt, and beets; and Charred Octopus with sweet potato, pear juice and almond cream, among others. Main courses include Swordfish Belly with charred onions, arugula and a vinegar-laced béarnaise sauce, along with Lamb Loin with nightshade, daikon and nori. And don’t grab your seats at the show until you’ve had Pastry Chef Jeb Breakell’s supremely delicious Coconut Panna Cotta with pineapple, tapioca, and passion fruit.
