Harlem Jazz Series — Kahlil Kwame Bell
| Learn More |
Khalil Kwame Bell — Grammy-affiliated percussionist, composer, arranger, and sonic innovator — brings his extraordinary ensemble to the Harlem Jazz Series on June 26, 2025. Born in the Bronx in 1968, Bell plays over 1,000 percussion instruments and has been credited on more than 150 recordings since 1989. He has toured with Roberta Flack and Erykah Badu, appeared on Grammy-nominated albums by Jazzmeia Horn and Don Braden, and is widely recognized as the jazz world's master of the slappaphone — a nine-pitched tubular melodic instrument he has made entirely his own. This is a night of rhythm, innovation, and pure Harlem soul. Don't miss it.
