Eli Yamin - Harlem Jazz Series
| Learn More |
One of jazz's most soulful and joyful voices, Eli Yamin is a pianist, vocalist, composer, and educator whose music pours from the wellspring where jazz, blues, and gospel all run together. A New York City native and longtime champion of jazz education through his work with Jazz at Lincoln Center, he has dedicated his life to both performing and sharing the music — writing original songs, leading ensembles, and bringing the story of jazz into classrooms and concert halls around the world. His piano playing is warm and luminous, his singing earthy and intimate, and his connection to an audience is immediate and real.
