This fall, Top of the Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center will host its first-ever live music program, the Starlight Music Series, on Wednesday evenings, September 9th-October 7th, from 6-8pm on the 67th floor observatory. Visitors can enjoy live music and a glass of wine or refreshing beverages provided by Rock Center Café as they take in the stunning, 360-degree panorama of New York City at sunset. Access to the musical event is free with a Top of the Rock ticket. Wine and refreshments will be available for purchase.
The series will feature a variety of performances, including The Mark Berman Jazz Trio (known for his composition of the Sex and the City theme song), The Joan Capra String Quartet, accomplished musician Beledo on Spanish guitar, and piano and harpist Jeanne Koehler.
Top of the Rock is open daily 8am to midnight, with the sky shuttle making a final run at 11pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $13 for children six to 12 years old, through September 30th. Beginning October 1st tickets are $21 for adults, $19 for seniors and $14 for children six to 12 years old. Guests must be over 21 years of age to purchase alcohol. Identification is required.
